This is my first book by author Hill and OMG, what an incredible, compulsive, thrilling, and suspenseful story! I didn’t think it was overly creepy or scary but it IS a powerful, sometimes tragic story about the cost of revenge and the corrosive and corrupting effects of unlimited power.

Six friends attend the college that boasts one of the only copies of a journal by Enoch Crane who was executed for consorting with the devil. When one of them gets caught in a blackmail situation they can’t escape, the friends successfully use the journal to summon a supernatural dragon.

But the dragon isn’t easy to control and has demands of its own....

I’m now a huge fan and will have to read and collect ALL Hill’s works!
